The Vermont Digital Newspaper Project is based at the University of Vermont, and is supported by the Vermont Department of Libraries and the Vermont Historical Society. The Project preserves Vermont’s historical newspapers while making them freely available online. 

EBSCO’s LearningExpress Library provides a comprehensive selection of academic and career-related solutions available in one platform. It includes skill-building in reading, writing, math, and science, college admissions exams, occupational licensing tests, workplace skills improvement, career exploration, and much more. 

The ABLE Library is a free talking book and braille library service. We serve patrons who are blind and visually impaired. We also serve patrons who have a physical or reading disability that stops them from being able to read standard print. We are part of the Vermont Department of Libraries, and we serve the entire state of Vermont.

Jamaica Memorial Library also has a collection of Large Print books on loan from the ABLE Library.

Universal Class is a website packed with over 500 Online Classes that you can take at no cost to you! There are classes on everything from Accounting & Bookkeeping to Writing Help and just about everything in between.

Did you know that you can check out a vehicle pass for ANY Vermont State Park? It includes up to 8 people in one vehicle, and access to 33 state parks with day use areas, including our very own Jamaica State Park, nearby Lowell Lake in Londonderry and Emerald Lake in Dorset.
