Book Club Returns!
We are reading West with Giraffes for our April Book Club that will take place on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at 5:30pm.
Read and discuss this historical fiction based on the first two giraffes arriving to the San Diego Zoo in the 40s from the Zookeeper retelling the tale. Copies are available at the library. I can’t wait to read this one!
May Book Club
We are reading The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune for our May book club meeting. This story had me laughing out loud while warming my heart. I won’t forget listening to the audiobook while walking my dog and laughing out loud. Full of a crazy cast of characters, this full of heart fantasy shows us the true meaning of found family, and finding the unexpected in the seemingly mundane day to day of our lives.
